"My work focuses on expressive research that can represent the various possible relationships that are created between people. Sometimes I represent my relationship with what inspires me or what holds me back, other times the experience that people have with the external environment, also understood in a social and political sense, analysing its dynamics. Painting, videos and installations are the I use to convey these messages in such a way that they affect the interiority of other individuals and stimulates their empathic participation".
"Accompanied since childhood by a recurring theme in my mind and in my music, which is that of the empathetic welcome of human beings, my works seek tell stories of people, of the last and the marginalised, with the aim of giving them a hearing, respect and acceptance through what has always been one the best vehicles of unity: music."
"As a photographer, I tend to combine introspective and documentary points of view. My approach to image making is heavily influenced by my surroundings and decision making. My work explores vulnerability, regardless of gender. I tend to establish a relationship with my subjects: I am always interested in what they have to say, their story and experiences."
“I like to give things a second chance; I feel it as an ecological and economic responsibility. Through art I would like people to stop and take the time to reflect…”
Davide Marizza is a young man from Turriaco who attends the painting section of the “Max Fabiani” art high school in Gorizia. “My art of interpreting and giving voice to works of eternal beauty. While studying, I focus on the content of the text and I strive to grasp the objective characteristics of the melodic line, the harmonic structure, the form used by the composer. When I have understood the grammatical and formal characteristics of the piece, I try my hand at "reading between the lines" and express my thoughts based on my personal taste and intuition, always showing the utmost respect to the text.”
I try to understand my thoughts and my emotions by writing them down on paper and trying to create short stories or poems. I describe different situations from the ones that I experience every day, representing different reflections and subjects. In this way, writing has become my “safe place” where I can go when I need it most.
"I work on projects mainly focused on social and environmental issues, merging in the present the past world and the world that is being defined at this particular moment in history. My mission is to inspire positive change, using the power of images to make a meaningful impact. As a perfect millennial, I embody in my work the uncertainty and transition of the era in which I was born."

Between 2019 and 2022 ARTESS worked with students aged 16-19 from five high schools in Udine in the “TESSERE-Teens Empowering Social Skills” and “SMILE-Capable of Social Skills, Capable of Solidarity) training courses.
At the end of the course, the students produced their own original and creative “tale” on the dimensions of interpersonal relationships today, using graphics, illustration, comics, video, photography. This resulted in work that surprised for their level of conception and creativity and for their expressive capacity: they tell of relational discomfort but also of the possibilities for dealing with it.
"All paintings and anonymous writings were created and written within the „Intuitive painting group “of volunteer counselors from Telefonseelsorge (TS) in Bonn. The motifs in the paintings are an expression of their own feelings and have not been stated beforehand. The very different modes of expression and contents of the paintings show that the TS is open and reachable for a wide variety of emotions. But we also clearly see things in common. They reflect the feelings of „Telefonseelsorge “, so to speak the "face" of TS.”
